42/52

A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2013.
"All good things must come an end," not sure I like whoever came up with that, but alas summer is officially over. We harvested all we could from our planted-too-late-garden before the first frost last night.

Siena-helping separate the chard (silver beet) stems from leaves for blanching and freezing.
Reed- the very last 2013 picnic on the grass from more than a week ago...

loving from last week: this reminds me that when reed was about 8 to 10 months any problem in the world could be solved by taking him on the porch to watch the cars go by, words are really not needed,  little hipster.

As always joining with Jodi over at cheandfidel.blogspot.com

  2. We just covered our little garden since we still have loads of green cucumbers and tomatoes- doubt they'll make it but we are trying. We didn;t make the kitchen, but a local carpenter made it when we lived in Australia.
